The Curriculum & Instruction component provides quality professional development and technical assistance to school districts throughout Region III.

 

Services include training and assistance in the four content areas which includes support for the implementation of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

 
Curriculum development, which includes the CSCOPE process and WebCCAT support are a major focus in this component.

This component also provides regional leadership in the areas of bilingual/ESL, Career and Technical Education, advanced academics, Gifted/Talented education, Health and Safety, School Readiness Integration, and Response to Intervention (RtI).
