In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Ike, it is absolutely necessary for communications among the public, the impacted districts, and the agency to be open and clear. For the immediate future and until the return of full functioning campuses and districts, I am asking that you advise the agency of the dates that your district and ESC were closed and ultimately re-opened. Superintendents please send those dates to your E.S.C. Additionally, districts and E.S.C.’s should post this information on their websites.
