Federal Application Contracted Services

NCLB Student Support Contracted Services are designed to assist districts in the preparation and submission of applications, amendments, and compliance reports for the Consolidated Application for Federal Funding, Title VI programs, and Annual Highly Qualified Teachers Compliance Report. Assistance with program and budget planning, direct and follow-up services, and professional development opportunities will be offered.

Option 1 – Contracted Services

The ESC is responsible for providing assistance in completing applications, amendments, and compliance reports, and other documentation associated with the following:

  • Consolidated Application for Federal Funds
  • Highly Qualified Survey

On-site, telephone and e-mail technical assistance with:

  • Highly Qualified Compliance Templates
  • Consolidated Compliance Reports
  • Gun-Free report
  • Private Non-Profit Participation/Affirmation
  • Planning and Budgeting
  • Compliance/PBMAS
  • MOE (Maintenance of Effort)
  • Reponse to Intervention (RTI)
  • At-Risk/Dropout/Homeless Identification Issues
  • SIP Grant – School Improvement Program (if applicable)
  • TTIPS - Texas Title I Priority School Grant (if applicable)

Professional Development: (No cost to Contracted Districts)

  • Substitute Teacher TrainingAt-Risk/Droput/Homeles/Poverty/Early Warning Data System (EWDS) Overviews
  • Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Certification Academy 
  • Region III NCLB Compliance and At-Risk Workshops
  • Individualized LEA Professional Development (upon request)
  • Federal Program Compliance Trainings: Parent Involvement, Highly Qualified, Comprehensive Needs Assessments, Campus Planning, Professional Development, Fiscal Issues and private Non-Profit Schools,
  • School Support Team training
  • On-going staff development NET3s for currently certified paraprofessionals (TOPS Program))
Cost: 3% of Title I, Part A 2011-2012 Title 1, Part A Maximum Entitlement
         
         Minimum: $1,000 Maximum: $7,500 for LEAs with ADA of 5000
         LEAs with an ADA above 5000 will be negotiated on a district by district basis.

Option 2: On-Site Assistance as Requested

  • The ESC Title I Specialist will provide on-site technical assistance and follow-up for any required application and compliance report listed in Option I at a daily rate.

Cost: $550 per day

$275 per half day
