Evaluation/Assessment Overview

Region 3 provides training and technical assistance for our districts to assist in meeting federal and state mandates for evaluation, reevaluation, and monitoring progress towards IEP goals. We provide information to districts on determining eligibility for special education services and special education state assessments.

The purpose of Child Find is to locate, identify and evaluate children from age 3 to 21 years of age with disabilities and their possible need for special education and related services.

Child Find is a free referral and information service.

Region 3 provides free Child Find posters, brochures and writing pads to local education agencies within our region. If you are a Region 3 school district or charter school in need of these materials, call for details.
