Assist teachers in processing the volume of information that is in the IFD. Pacing Tools chunk out the learning which results in more efficient lesson planning. All Pacing Tools are anchored by the Performance Assessments. All Pacing Tools include formative assessment options as well as places for teachers to add their own instructional notes and resources. Because the Pacing Tools are Google docs, they can be copied and edited if teachers want to use these as their lesson plan guide.

The Cross Curriculum Alignment Document or CCAD easy-to-use tool organizes all the standards for a given time period and grade together, allowing teachers to see where they can combine relevant content and make strong real-world connections for students. A solid understanding of these documents will prove very helpful in facilitating cross-curricular implementation.
