Assistive Technology in Action

For many children with disabilities, AT plays a vital role in helping them build on their strengths and overcome challenges. Assistive Technology comprises all equipment from a simple modified drinking cup to the most advanced electronic devices running cutting-edge AI-powered software. When these tools are written into a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), they officially become Assistive Technology—tailored supports that help students thrive.
