Career & Technical Education

Career and Technical Education programs are dedicated to preparing young people to manage the dual roles of family member and wage earner. Through academic integration and coherent sequences of courses, Career and Technical Education programs prepare students for employment in a high-skill, high-wage, or high demand job and/or to continue their education in various post-secondary institutions.

The Region 3 Career and Technical Education Program is designed to assist school districts in promoting, developing and implementing quality CTE programs which meet all State and Federal requirements. Technical assistance and professional development opportunities are offered for all districts.
