How’s your baby? It is the most important question asked in ECI. As experts in early childhood intervention, we know that EARLY IS BEST and we know that the most formative years for the brain occur between birth and age three.
As Deputy Executive Director of the Region 3 Education Service Center Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECI), I would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with what we do and the services we offer. Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) has been serving babies and families in this area for over 40 years. Our staff includes Early Intervention Specialists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, Nutritionists, Speech Therapists, Case Managers, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Social Worker ready to share their knowledge of child development with you to help your baby make developmental progress.
This website is designed to give you more information about our program and about what ECI can do for you. Because each child is unique, we encourage you to call us if you have specific questions. Evaluation is provided at no cost to you. We believe that no one knows their baby better than their parent(s) and caregivers, so we encourage you to call us directly, rather than taking a 'wait and see' approach. The birth to three years are some of the most important years in brain development and we want to maximize that by getting in to work with families as soon as there are signs of delays. Our association with an ESC only strengthens the value we place on the current and future education of children.
Working in your local community since 1981, the Region 3 ESC ECI Program appreciates the trust you place in our program by referring your baby to us.
Kind Regards,
Linda Ledwig
Deputy Executive Director of Early Childhood Intervention
